Про результати Фінальної Конференції проєкту iResilience11 Червня 2025р.

On June 10, 2025, about 100 stakeholders from across the European Unionand the Eastern Partnership region came together online for the Final Conference of the iResilience project.

Over the past year, Sustainability InnoCenter(Sweden), Estonian Roundtable for Development Cooperation(Estonia), Science Park of Kyiv National Economics University(Ukraine) and the American University of Armenia(Armenia) collaborated to develop innovative approaches to combat disinformation, empower civil society and build democratic resilience.

Highlights from the conference:

Methodology for resilience development events was presented by the Swedish partner, including a structured framework and templates used for resilience capacity-building activities such as hackathons or ideathons, which engaged young leaders and experts to co-create local solutions to overcome societal challenges;

Visual storytelling on resilience from the Estonian partner showcased impactful video materials that communicated lessons from crises and possible solutions. These videos form part of the Roadmap to Resilience - a practical, visually engaging tool which will be available for wider use in civil society education and advocacy;

AI-powered fake news detection from the Ukrainian partner introduced machine learning algorithms designed to identify disinformation in text and media. These tools have already been tested with students and media professionals and facilitating the pathway for tech-assisted media literacy;

 Firsthand voices & research from the Armenian partner highlighted their media literacy campaign and unique podcast and tutorial series. Notably, a focus group was conducted with journalists and activists from Artsakh/Karabakh, documenting their experiences with disinformation campaigns during the September 2023 crisis. These powerful testimonials will feed into a forthcoming policy paper to inform media and governance practices.

The conference concluded with the official launch of the iResilience Network - a Telegram-based space for stakeholders to continue exchanging ideas, resources and opportunities. Welcome to join and share: https://lnkd.in/dhx9UxuH
