31st Polish–Slovak–Ukrainian Scientific Seminar on Quantitative Methods in Socio-Economic Research – from Theory to Impact25 Жовтня 2025р.
On October 23–24, 2025, the 31st Polish–Slovak–Ukrainian Scientific Seminar entitled
“Quantitative Methods in Socio-Economic Research – From Theory to Impact” was held.
The seminar traditionally brought together researchers from Poland, Slovakia, and Ukraine as part of an annual scientific event aimed at discussing актуальні theoretical and applied aspects of using quantitative methods in socio-economic research, exchanging research results, and identifying directions for further international cooperation.
This year, the seminar was hosted by the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Representatives of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Modeling and Statistics took part in the seminar’s activities, actively contributing to scientific discussions, presenting the results of their own research, and discussing prospects for future joint projects with international partners. In particular, the following presentations were delivered:
1. Yaroslava V. Ishchuk— “Challenges and Prospects of Ukraine’s Corn Export Potential under Wartime Conditions”;
2. Tetiana L. Kmytiuk— “Applications of Machine Learning for Sustainable Agriculture”.
