On 26–28 May 2026 in Kyiv, at the International Exhibition Center, the International Specialized Exhibition Addit EXPO 3D took place, bringing together leading companies, research institutions, and educational establishments in the field of modern industrial and digital technologies. The Department of Computer Science at the event was represented by Associate Professor Lozovyk Yurii Mykolaiovych and Senior Lecturer Vozniuk Yaroslav Yuriiovych. They visited the exhibition and familiarized themselves with the presented innovative solutions, modern industrial equipment, and technologies used in manufacturing and additive engineering.

Within the exposition, a wide range of thematic events was presented, including presentations of state programs for stimulating industrial development, panel discussions on the modernization of Ukrainian industry, as well as demonstrations of modern 3D printing and digital manufacturing technologies.

During the review of the expositions, the lecturers became acquainted with metal 3D printing technologies, equipment for material processing, laser engraving, welding and cutting systems, as well as solutions for working with polymer materials. Special attention was paid to modern samples of products manufactured using additive technologies.

Issues of the development of modern “truss-type” structures produced using 3D printing technologies were discussed, including their engineering features, advantages, and prospects for use in industry and educational activities.

In addition, professional contacts were established with representatives of industrial enterprises, research institutions, and potential partners of the university; possible areas of cooperation and the implementation of innovative technologies into the educational process were discussed, as well as the improvement of the material and technical base of the Educational and Scientific Laboratory “Information Control Systems and Technologies” of the Department of Computer Science.

Participation in the international exhibition contributes to the growth of the professional experience of lecturers and the further development of cooperation between the university and the industrial sector.
