On 13 November 2025, in the main building of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, the autumn job fair “Career November” took place, organized by the Career Development Center “Perspektyva”. The event became a traditional platform for communication between education seekers and representatives of leading employers, contributing to increasing the level of students’ career activity and expanding the university’s partnership relations with business.

Students of the bachelor’s level of the educational and professional program “Computer Science”, as well as students of the master’s level of the educational and professional programs “Artificial Intelligence Systems” and “Information-Control Systems and Technologies”, took an active part in the event.

Within the framework of the fair, students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the offerings of more than twenty employer companies, learn about internship programs, opportunities for practical training, and employment prospects. Particular attention during the fair was paid to companies in the IT sector, which actively cooperate with the university and are interested in the training of highly qualified specialists. Among them are SoftServe, Universe Group, Caseware Ukraine, and DS Solutions, which presented opportunities for internships, participation in training programs, and involvement in real projects. Representatives of IT companies emphasized the importance of possessing modern digital competencies, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a team, which are key for specialists in the field of information technology.

From the Department of Computer Science, the following participated in the event: the head of the department, associate professor, PhD in Economics Bohdan Oleksandrovych Tishkov; the guarantor of the educational program “Artificial Intelligence Systems”, associate professor, PhD in Technical Sciences Liudmyla Volodymyrivna Vasylieva; the guarantor of the educational program “Computer Science”, associate professor, PhD in Economics Oksana Mykolaivna Pomazun; the deputy head of the department for research, associate professor, PhD in Economics Yurii Mykolaiovych Lozovyk; the deputy head of the department for educational and methodological work Yaroslav Yuriiovych Vozniuk; associate professor Kostiantyn Valeriiovych Kryvosheiev, and others.

During the fair, representatives of the department held meetings with representatives of the participating companies, during which the possibilities of involving industry practitioners in teaching special courses, conducting master classes and training sessions for students, organizing introductory visits to company offices, developing joint educational and research initiatives, as well as improving the content of educational programs in accordance with modern labor market needs, were discussed.

The job fair “Career November” once again confirmed the effectiveness of the cooperation between the university and employers and the importance of the practical component in training future specialists. The event became an effective tool of professional orientation, contributed to establishing new contacts, exchanging experience, and creating additional opportunities for career development for IT students of KNEU.
