On May 2, 2026, the large-scale conference “Innovating Education” was held for the third time, organized by the ecosystem of product IT companies Genesis with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The main topics of this year’s conference included effective work with a new generation of students, the development of teaching approaches, and the formation of competencies that prepare both lecturers and students for the challenges of the future.

More than 6,000 educators joined the conference. Representing the Department of Computer Science at the conference were Associate Professor Liudmyla Volodymyrivna Vasylieva, guarantor of the educational program “Artificial Intelligence Systems,” and Professor Volodymyr Mykhailovych Huzhva.

During the discussion, the speakers outlined the key challenges of modern education. In particular, they addressed the transformation of higher education and its impact on universities, the need to adapt educational programs to labor market demands, and issues related to supporting teaching staff. Special attention was paid to methodologies that foster the development of creativity and critical thinking. Practical experience was presented by experts from Genesis, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and leading universities of the country, including Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
