XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists ‘GLUSHKOVSKY READINGS: MODERN CYBERNETICS 2024’13 December 2024р.

On December 6, 2024, a large-scale event took place - the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists ‘Glushkov Readings: Modern Cybernetics 2024’, organised by the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The conference consisted of two parts: a plenary session and a practical section. A special feature of this year's event was the platform organised by the Department of Information Systems in Economics of KNEU on the DEF CON principle - an open discussion of topical issues of cybernetics with the exchange of experience between students, teachers and specialists.

The event began with the opening remarks of Professor Larysa Antoniuk, Vice-Rector for Research at KNEU, who emphasised the importance of V.M. Glushkov's work in the development of modern cybernetics. The participants heard reports by prominent scientists, including academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine - Oleksandr Khimich and senior researcher Eleonora Karpets about the latest trends in artificial intelligence and cybernetic systems. Young scientists, postgraduate students and applicants presented their own research, including projects on the creation of B2B systems, chatbots, automation platforms and smart home solutions.

The conference demonstrated the high level of training of young researchers and opened new perspectives for the application of innovations in the field of cybernetics.

The event confirmed its significance as a platform for the exchange of experience and development of modern technologies.
