Working meeting with an international expert within the framework of the grant program “European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH)”24 April 2026р.April 24, 2026, within the framework of the grant program “European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH)”, a working meeting was held with a representative of the international expert community – Martin Karner, Lead, Defence and Security Industry AI@Robotics, Estonia. The working meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Research of KNEU, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Larysa Leontiivna Antoniuk; Head of the Department, Associate Professor, PhD in Economics Bohdan Oleksandrovych Tishkov; Deputy Head of the Department for Research, Associate Professor, PhD in Economics Yurii Mykolaiovych Lozovyk; Deputy Head of the Department for Educational and Methodological Work Yaroslav Yuriiovych Vozniuk; as well as Head of the Educational and Scientific Laboratory “Information Control Systems and Technologies” Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Liaskovych.
During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation within the framework of EDIH activities were discussed, in particular regarding the implementation of innovative digital solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The participants exchanged experience in the field of business process digitalization, identified priority areas for the development of joint initiatives, and outlined promising topics for future trainings. Among the key areas are business analytics, digital technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), as well as supercomputing and big data processing. As part of the visit, the international expert familiarized himself with the material and technical base of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Information Technologies in Economics of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, in particular with the educational and scientific laboratories “Information Control Systems and Technologies” and “Artificial Intelligence Systems”. Modern scientific and educational projects, as well as innovative developments implemented at the university, were presented. Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of applied research and educational projects, in particular using modern equipment and technologies: 3D glasses, scanners, 3D printers, microcontrollers, sensors, and other tools. The project is coordinated by Larysa Antoniuk, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research, Coordinator of the WIN2EDIH consortium. The initiative is implemented with the support of sub-sector CNECT.A.4 “Digital Transformation of Industrial Ecosystems” and is aimed at the development of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH).
The implementation of such activities within EDIH is aimed at accelerating digital transformation, increasing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, improving public services, and also contributes to the further development of international scientific and educational cooperation. |
