For the purpose of improving the quality of education, on March 12, 2025, the Department of Information Systems in Economics initiated and organized a meeting with stakeholders, during which a new educational program “Artificial Intelligence Systems” for training applicants of the second (master’s) level of higher education in specialty F3 “Computer Science” of the field of knowledge F “Information Technologies” was presented and discussed.

The presentation of the educational professional program “Artificial Intelligence Systems” was delivered by the program guarantor, Liudmyla Volodymyrivna Vasylieva, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.

After the presentation, an active and constructive discussion took place on current trends in the development of the specialty, labor market needs, and possible ways to improve the educational program.

Employers, students, graduates of the department, and colleagues joined the discussion. Among the key issues considered were:

• the level of preparation of graduates for work in IT companies;

• skills and competencies that require strengthening;

• the possibility of employers’ participation in updating the content of the educational program;

• modern technologies and practices that are advisable to integrate into the educational process;

• ways to deepen cooperation between the university and business;

• the structure of the program and the logic of forming educational components;

• the practical component of training;

• legislative regulation of the field of artificial intelligence;

• the role of the English language in professional training;

• issues of improving teachers’ qualifications and updating course content.
