Educational and Research Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence Systems of the Department of Information Systems in EconomicsThe main areas of work of the educational and scientific laboratory: 1. Comprehensive scientific and methodological research: - development and use of artificial intelligence systems and technologies in various fields, including enterprises and organizations;
- improvement of methods for designing systems with elements of artificial intelligence for decision-making, management, diagnostics, monitoring, and forecasting;
- conducting comprehensive scientific and methodological research in the field of design and use of artificial intelligence technologies and systems;
2. Support for R&D and engineering works: - creation and implementation of robotic systems and devices for automatic control of complex objects, enterprises, firms, and other organizations;
- development of intelligent information systems and components, including data mining, databases and knowledge, natural language interfaces, hypertext technologies, cognitive graphics, etc.;
3. Theoretical research and practical implementation: - application of fuzzy logic theory, and artificial neural networks to create artificial intelligence systems;
- introduction of the methodology of knowledge management systems and tools for their practical implementation to solve unstructured and weakly structured problems;
4. Big Data & Analytics: - analysis and formation of ultra-large data sets, including unstructured ones, with the help of BigData technologies, technologies, and tools for consolidating information in information environments for various purposes;
5. Promotion of educational, methodological, and scientific activities: - creation of stands for the reproduction of technological and physical processes and phenomena of given technical objects in laboratory conditions based on modern microcontroller element base and application software;
- promoting scientific, scientific-practical, and educational seminars, round tables, meetings, All-Ukrainian and international conferences, and symposiums, including international scientific and educational events, in particular forums, teleconferences in the areas of activity of the Department of Information Systems in Economics;
- development of electronic manuals, textbooks, and computer training;
- providing scientific, practical, consulting, recommendatory, and other assistance to the structural units of the University on the development and implementation of information systems and technologies and, in particular, artificial intelligence systems, in educational and scientific processes.
